initially contacted Javier for the first time a couple of days ago to set up an appointment ~ 2 weeks out, and asked that he let me know if he was free before then. Just today, I received a call that he was in the area, and available if we were around, which we were. He was awesome with our 5 month puppy, and a pleasure to talk to. Thanks Javier - you are awesome!

We found out about Javier and his mobile grooming service a couple of years ago and have been using him ever since for our schnauzer poodle mix. He is easy to schedule with by text and usually has appointments available within a couple of days. He is very gentle with our dog and gives him a good cut. And it's so great to have him come to our house and not have our dog waiting all day at a grooming salon.

Javier was a life saver !!! My very furry friend was sprayed by a skunk. I did not have the supplies or energy to remedy the situation. Javier was able to squeeze me in at lunch. After 5 washes my baby was nice a fresh. Highly recommend this company !!!

Havier is great!  He grooms our two lab mix dogs every 2 weeks.  I would highly recommend him.

I wish they had MORE stars!!! Top notch, doesn't get any better then STARS ! My young Irish Terrier had never been groomed and Javier was patient and got the job done to our satisfaction 100%

Just had my first mobile grooming appointment withJavier and his helper. Jack, my English Cream Golden, had never been in a grooming van before and I have to admit I was nervous about whether he'd even get in. Well, the only one nervous was me. Jack immediately took to Javier's quiet, kind voice and was really good. I had forgotten to tell Javier that Jack freAks at a dryer. As soon as Javier saw it distressed him he came and got me and we agreed that we would acquaint him to it over time. Jack looked beautiful when done and best of all was a happy dog. Javier is the real deal and I would trust him with any dog. He is very knowledgeable and gave me several great tips. For all that he does, trim, anal glands, ears, nails, wash and comb out Javier was very reasonably priced. A six star experience that made my day...

Javier is amazing! He's groomed my dogs for over 7 years. He's amazing and I followed him everywhere, until we were so excited he got his own truck! Kiva loves Javier and they rock out together during grooming and even send the cutest video of them having fun! He does exactly what you ask for, and is very gentle with puppies and older dogs (my last baby was 16, and she also loved him!) I stupidly went somewhere else and I will 100% stand by Javier. Unfortunately we are relocated out of state and I will miss him, but he is the best we found in Marin.

Great grooming service! My cocker spaniel jack russel chihuahua mix gets a feet and feathers trim and wash with Stars and it is fast, convenient, and she looks great! Stars comes right to your door and 20 minutes later you have a clean, trimmed, nice-smelling dog back! Well, until an hour later when the dog finds something foul smelling to roll in of course. :P Easy payment via credit card.

Javier has been doing our dog for several years. He is the best. I have a dog groomed beside my office, but we choose to continue to use Javier.
 

Just had Javier and assistant do my 4 dogs. 12 to 32lbs. Did a
very good job considering how nervous they all were to someone
new, squeezing their anal glands, cutting nails, washing and drying.
Everybody survived! Less than an hour to do all 4.
Clean dogs and reasonable!

This guy knows what he is doing - one of my dogs is pretty friendly, and he had no problem taking him into the van and giving him top notch service. He came back into the house a happy dog- less fuzzy, cleaner, and I look forward to less dog hair around the house! He showed me videos of his work with my dog, which is great! I've tried another grooming place in the past, and they would never show you what they were doing. The fact that he shows you what he does to your dog is testament to his level of service.

But what put him over the top for me is for my other dog, a mean Chihuahua who just bit a vet last week. She lets no one other than her masters near her. He wrapped her in a blanket, and clipped her nails. He talked to her while he held her, and she wasn't shaking in his arms, whaaaaat?

I love Star's Grooming !! Javier is amazing! My Bichon Frise Baxter Loves him too. We see Javier every 2-3 weeks and he  always does an excellent job. We are so Happy to have found Star's .  When I need last minute Washes for Baxter he always comes through. Thank you Javier.

Our first time using Javier's services, and definitely not the last!  Our yellow lab doesn't like water (I know, ironic, right?) but Javier was able to get him nice and clean and fluffy!

One thing that really impressed me was how much he obviously loves dogs.  It was Buddy's first time meeting Javier, so Javier took him for a short walk.  However, it being one of the hottest days of the year, Javier first touched the sidewalk to make sure it wasn't too hot for paws.

We usually take our dog to our vet for a nail trim but due to COVID, they have stopped doing regular tech services. I found Javier (Stars Mobile Grooming) through Yelp when my dog was in desperate need of her next trim. He came the same day within 20 minutes of calling him. For her next trim, he made time in his busy schedule to come during the crazy Woodward fire. He's gentle and kind! The best service!
